Yes, now is your chance to ask that burning question you'd like your MP to answer,
and to listen to what our Horsham MP, Jeremy Quin, has to say. If you have a particular question then please email it to us before the meeting. Due to the mulitude of constituancy demands on his time on a Friday, Mr Quin will only be with us for about an hour.
When and where is the meeting?
10 a.m. on Friday 1st December 2023, either in person at Age UK, Lavinia House, Dukes Square, Denne Road, Horsham RH12 1GZ, or you can attend remotely via ZOOM.
What's in it for me?
Complimentary tea & coffee before the meeting,
the opportunity to talk to others,
find out what's happening from your MP,
ask questions,
and learn from our great guest speakers.
Our other great guest speakers are Tom Goodridge, NHS Sussex who will update us on the latest situation and concerns about our local NHS & GP services. We have asked him to tell us about the current prescription medicines shortage and having to hunt around pharmacies yourself if your pharmacy doesn't have medicines in stock.
Helen Rice, CEO, Age UK, West Sussex Brighton & Hove (WSBH) to discuss what's happening locally and for older people across Sussex
and if time,
Phillip Mockett, HDC Community Link Alarm services.
Is that it?
We will, of course have time for issues and concerns that affect us as older people to be raised and discussed. So often we find answers from those in the room!
I want to attend. How do I book my place?
Due to the size of the room and the popularity of Lavinia House for other events, numbers have to be restricted. Simply send an email to hdopforum@gmail.com or use the Contact us on this website. Likewise, please do the same if you'd like to attend using ZOOM to obtain the joining information.
