Have you booked YOUR place? or asked for the Zoom joining information?
Now is your chance to ask that burning question you'd like your MP to answer
and to listen to what our Horsham MP, Jeremy Quin, has to say. If you have a question, please email it to us before the meeting. Due to many constituency demands on his time on a Friday, Mr Quin will only be with us for about an hour.
When and where is the meeting?
10 a.m. on Friday, 1st December 2023, either in person at Age UK, Lavinia House, Dukes Square, Denne Road, Horsham RH12 1GZ, or you can attend remotely via ZOOM.
What's in it for me?
Complimentary tea & coffee before the meeting,
the opportunity to talk to others,
find out what's happening from your MP,
and learn from our great guest speakers.
Our other great guest speakers are Tom Goodridge, NHS Sussex who will update us on the latest situation and concerns about our local NHS & GP services. We have asked him to tell us about the current prescription medicines shortage and having to hunt around pharmacies yourself if your pharmacy doesn't have medicines in stock.
Helen Rice, CEO, Age UK, West Sussex Brighton & Hove (WSBH) to discuss what's happening locally and for older people across Sussex
and if time allows,
Phillip Mockett, HDC Community Link Alarm services.
Is that it?
We will, of course, have time to raise and discuss issues and concerns that affect us as older people. So often, we find answers from those in the room!
I want to attend. How do I book my place?
Due to the size of the room and the popularity of Lavinia House for other events, numbers must be restricted. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the Contact us on this website. Likewise, please do the same if you'd like to attend using ZOOM to obtain the joining information.
