It's MP Question Time!

3 min read

Yes, it's our very popular 'MP Question Time' meeting and your chance to hear and question your elected MP for Horsham, John Milne.

What do you want to know? What does he want you to know? What issues does he see for his Horsham constituency? What is he doing about....?

What questions do you have?

Please send any specific questions before Friday the 23rd of November to ensure balanced coverage and make the most of our short time with Mr Milne.

Laura Robertson, NHS Surrey & Sussex, will update us on what is happening in the NHS. If you have a specific question, let us know well in advance so we can ensure you get an answer.

Who can attend?

Anyone aged 60+ who lives in the Horsham district or cares for someone who is. Anyone involved with, knowledgeable about, or interested in issues affecting local older people.

Our local MPs, HDC, WSCC, Town and Parish Councillors are valued supporters and are always welcome at our Forum meetings.

When, where and how much?

10 a.m. on Friday, December 4th, 2026. Free to attend.

The venue will again be Brighton Road Baptist Church, Brighton Road, Horsham RH13 5BD.

Please let us know if you are attending so we can confirm the venue is large enough and arrange refreshments (courtesy of Hilton Home Care)

Due to low uptake at our last two public meetings, the meeting will NOT be on Zoom.

Parking.   Limited parking is available in the church car park, accessed from New Street. There is also a pay-and-display car park in New Street, virtually opposite the church car park.

Free parking is available a shortish walk away in Bennetts Field.

Community Transport West Sussex may be able to assist you in attending.

A handy downloadable Horsham Bus Map and timetables can be found here.

What will you gain by attending?

Meet your local MP and find out what he thinks about the issues that affect you and your family.

Meet others in a warm, safe, older-person-friendly environment, with complimentary refreshments kindly provided once again by Hilton Home Care.

Jumbulance "I’m getting in touch from Jumbulance to let you know about an upcoming accessible trip to Ypres which may be of interest to some of your members.

Jumbulance is a charity that provides accessible travel for people who may find travelling more difficult due to disability, health conditions or mobility needs. Our specially adapted Jumbulance vehicles allow people to travel comfortably alongside other travellers and volunteers. Travellers can travel in their wheelchair, a stretcher bed for longer journeys or a fixed seat and all seats are accessible by a lift.

We have some places available on our trip to Ypres, Belgium 1-4 March 2027, departing from Pease Pottage Services, and thought it might be something your members would be interested to hear about.

The trip is open to a mix of travellers of different ages and abilities, and people are very welcome to get in touch with us to have a chat about their individual support or accessibility needs. Joining us on the trip will be 2 expert guides, including Jeremy Banning a military historian and researcher specialising in the First World War.

If this would be of interest to your members, we can send further information and a flyer. Kind regards,

Sarah "
